What is this app?
This app was created to share or converse with others in
Twulshootseed through text. We noticed how hard it was to text in the language so we’ve developed this app. It is a great tool for practicing spelling and sentence structure.

How to use it?
Use the provided keyboard along with the special
characters above to type Twulshootseed. Tap on the text and choose “Select All” then choose copy. You may then paste your text in text messages, notes, or anywhere on your iPhone.

Limitations.
Unfortunately, as of right now, these special characters only work with other iPhones. When sent to friends with other operating systems such as Android, the characters may not display correctly. Also the “d raised z” will not display correctly, therefore it is replaced with a regular “dz.”

Universal App, Retina ready!

Twulshootseed is a southern dialect of the Lushootseed language and the official language of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians in Washington state. for more information contact [email protected]
